On July 20th, Taipei Medical University's Graduate Institute of Health and Biotechnology Law held its orientation for the 2025 academic year. Hosted by Dean Chung-Hsi Lee, Director Chien-Chih Ho, and Assistant Professor Wen-I Tsai, the event provided new students with a clear academic blueprint and a supportive welcome.
Three Key Academic Features for Incoming Students
Resources & Pathways: Director Ho detailed the academic and living resources available at the Xinyi and Shuang-Ho campuses. He also provided an in-depth explanation of the curriculum design and academic requirements for both the Master's Program and the in-service Master's Program, ensuring students can clearly plan their future from day one.
Philosophy & Interaction: Faculty members shared their teaching experiences and the core essence of their courses. They actively engaged with new students, conveying the institute's core educational philosophy of encouraging critical thinking and in-depth inquiry.
Encouraging Diversity & Thought: Our institute is dedicated to creating an open academic platform that welcomes students from diverse professional backgrounds. Through the interdisciplinary integration of law, medicine, and technology, we aim to collectively address the challenges of a new era.
The event concluded successfully amidst enthusiastic exchanges. We look forward to our new cohort embarking on their academic journey and becoming professionals who possess both ideals and practical skills.
