Assistant Professor Chang Bin-xuan from the Institute of Medical Law, commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to conduct the "Legal Analysis of Physicians' Labor Rights Protection Project," is working to assist the Ministry in drafting the Regulations on Short-Term Medical Practice by Foreign Physicians During Emergencies in Taiwan. An expert meeting will be held, inviting experts from the Society of Emergency Medicine, the Emergency Medical Response Center, Doctors Without Borders, and the Taiwan Association for Disaster Medicine Development to participate in discussions. The meeting will be chaired by Assistant Professor Chang Bin-xuan from the Institute of Medical Law, with Senior Technical Specialist Lu Nian-ci from the Department of Medical Affairs providing on-site guidance. This will assist the competent authority in establishing the guidelines for managing short-term medical practice certificates as stipulated in Article 41-6 of the Physicians Act.
